Over the past 14yrs - I have been fortunate enough to have played a part in some incredible productions and expeditions

I have extensive experience in overseas production – often remote, organising and managing complex logistics and working with celebrity talent. My passion and experience lie predominantly in environmental, adventure and anthropological journalism. Our world is changing around us and video and photographic journalism has never played a more important role in communicating the stories of the people, cultures and natural environments that are being impacted and altered as a direct result of our rapidly developing society. By using the skills I have as a producer, I want to try to do my part in protecting our planet and its peoples

I have been operating as a qualified and freelance expedition leader since 2017 working both in the UK and abroad. I am a qualified UK mountain leader and International Mountain Leader. I have a wide range of expedition experience leading groups in Africa, the Alps, the Himalayas and the UK mountains. This also includes leading groups at altitude on Mount Kilimanjaro, Annapurna Basecamp and doing glacier work in the Swiss Alps. My work and experience as an expedition leader has given me a firm grounding and knowledge base for work in remote, wild and high-risk environments. I have skills in planning, organizing and overseeing expedition logistics, communication, working within foreign teams and overseeing and ensuring the safety of large groups.

Through my work I have also cultivated experience within the risk management sector including advising on safety and security, the creation, management and execution of complex risk management procedures and paperwork and have extensive experience managing and coordinating complex logistics and working with foreign crews. My work as a producer, married with my experience as an expedition leader, means I can provide a unique insight into both worlds and can manage expectations whilst also helping to facilitate high end content.
